Urine protein excretion mirrors treatment effects in IgA Nephropathy

This systematic review and meta-analysis from Lesley A. Inker and colleagues of 12 randomized clinical trials of treatments for IgA nephropathy shows that the treatment effects on urine protein excretion predict the treatment effects on slope of glomerular filtration rate. Treatments that reduce proteinuria are likely beneficial in IgA nephropathy. Read more
